I spent my early career in Finance before moving into a Sales environment, running large call centre teams. My career in the world of recruitment began in early 2001, initially working in the Industrial labour sector before moving into Engineering & Technical after 2 years. I then developed and expanded my knowledge of the various engineering trades by visiting and getting to know my clients and candidates to find out about the necessary skills and experience.

I found my skill to be within the Permanent recruitment sector and I have forged a successful career supplying skilled candidates from Maintenance, Design, Quality, Projects, Production up to management and Director level to companies in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technical industries throughout the UK.

By using honest and straightforward methods, I have established and maintained firm, long term relationships with many clients over the years, providing an efficient and professional solution to clients.

Office Manager & Resourcer

My career began as a Rugby player with the Bradford Bulls for several years, till injury ended my career.

I then spent time as a CNC Operator/programmer & then within Warehouse management.

I entered the Recruitment industry over 8 years ago, with Visper Technical as Office Manager & Resourcer, I enjoy the varied & challenging work & learning something new every day.

I provide full & efficient backup support to the Consultants & deal with the everyday issues for the whole office.

After working in the Oil & Gas industry, I began my career in the world of recruitment in 1997. Initially, working in the Industrial and semi-skilled sector, I quickly developed my knowledge of the various engineering trades by getting to know my clients and candidates, finding out what skills and experience make a good Engineer.

With this, I have forged a successful career supplying Maintenance Engineers, Machine Shop and Welding personnel, Quality Engineers and Supervisory staff to the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technical industries throughout the UK.

With a measured approach, using honest and straightforward methods, I have established firm, long term relationships with many clients within the manufacturing, aerospace, FMCG and Oil & Gas sectors.

I provide an efficient and reliable front and back office solutions to clients, enabling them to hire fantastic workers.

My career began in the Royal Marines serving around the world in various roles for almost 20 years.

As my time came to an end, I spent a year recruiting for the RM / RN before leaving and joining ‘civvie street’.

I then spent 15 years in retail Management, managing various stores in the Yorkshire area. This also included recruitment and training in all aspects of H&S, training & development.

After being made redundant I decided it was now time for me to change to something just as demanding and rewarding, but also new!

I entered into the Recruitment industry with Visper Technical as a Resourcer & have now been here for over 3 years, and I enjoy the varied work & learning something new every day.

Whilst studying Business Management, I started working my way up from an Administrator through to a Consultant role. In my 6 years in the industry, I have had the privilege of working alongside Engineers & I have gained valuable knowledge which I now use in my recruitment process.

My understanding of the Engineering industry mean that clients I work with can trust me to supply skilled staff at short notice, or to source permanent members of staff for a new or established team / role.
